Think of Warren Beatty in the 60s and 70s living atop the Beveryl Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. Or the reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes setting up home on the top floor of Las Vegas’s Desert Inn. In New York, the Kennedys maintain a pied-a-terre at the Carlyle Hotel on the Upper East Side. Other hotels in NYC that combine luxury apartments and hotels are The Essex House, The Sherry Netherlands, The Pierre and soon….the historic and elegant Plaza Hotel. |
